Welcome back to our blog! It’s been a number of months since we’ve posted and lots of productive and exciting things have happened.
First and foremost, an update on our expansion project. Since announcing our expansion project in 2021, the project has finally been completed. Our production facility grew from 12,000 square feet to 21,000 square feet, and we will add an additional 14,000 square feet next month. We’ve also doubled our seasoning and bagging capacity with additional equipment and staffing. All of these changes came just in time to accomodate a record 65% increase in sales in 2022!
Although this is all good news, 2022 was still a challenging year due to supply chain issues and inflation affecting our ingredient inputs. While we certainly were not alone in facing these challenges last year, we are heartened that these conditions seem to be moderating in 2023.
